Zero cases of COVID-19 cases in NSW for third day in a row | The Armidale Express

NSW has recorded no new local cases or coronavirus for the third day in a row. Out of 19,989 tests on Tuesday there were zero local COVID-19 cases and three new cases in overseas travellers. Deputy chief health officer Dr Jeremy McAnulty was happy to see that testing numbers had again risen but urged people with any symptoms to come forward for testing. “Testing numbers have risen in recent days but are still insufficient to provide confidence that chains of transmission will be picked up,” Dr McAnulty said. “High testing rates help reveal cases that would otherwise go unnoticed, and are an invaluable tool to help in the stop of the spread of COVID-10.” NSW has had 4890 cases of coronavirus since the pandemic started.
